Effective Date: October 1, 1989 In this Addendum for Volume 2, Alphabetic Index of Diseases, under "Complications," there are several new entries that say "-see also Complications ... or -see Complications ...". In Volume 2, codes 996.6 or 996.7 appear immediately following these entries. NEC may also appear at the end of these references. Delete these codes and the "NEC" reference and enter the new material. Dotted lines (ellipses) ... appear where there is text in the Index that is not affected.
