Mixed Receptive-Expressive Language Disorder

Note:As of October 1, 2004, code title for 315.32, was changed to Mixed receptive-expressive language disorder and receptive expressive language disorder was deleted as an inclusion term. Code 315.32, Receptive language disorder (mixed), has been created effective October 1, 1996. Mixed receptive-expressive language disorder is an impairment in both receptive and expressive language development. The impairment may occur in communication including both verbal and sign language. A person afflicted with this disorder may have problems associated with expressive language disorder such as a markedly limited vocabulary, errors in tense, difficulty recalling words, and general difficulty expressing ideas...
