Multiple Gestation

Effective October 1, 2005, a new code, 651.7, Multiple gestation following (elective) fetal reduction, has been created to identify women who have undergone fetal reduction during their current pregnancy. These pregnancies are considered high risk, however, the fetal reduction reduces the risk to the remaining fetuses.
