Myocardial bridge, congenital, 746.85. Code also any mention of chronic ischemic heart disease, 414.8. Myocardial bridge occurs when the heart muscle wraps around the coronary artery and constricts it. The bridge usually builds over the middle portion of the left anterior descending coronary artery. The myocardial bridge appears to be a congenital condition and its occurrence is higher in women than in men.
