Subcategory 567.2, Other suppurative peritonitis, was expanded with the creation of codes 567.21, Peritonitis (acute) generalized, 567.22, Peritoneal abscess, 567.23, Spontaneous bacterial peritonitis, and 567.29, Other suppurative peritonitis.
