December 1997 page 6 Coding Communication Correction Correction In the article Evaluation and Management Guidelines: Interpreting Tests and Studies, that appeared in the October 1997 issue page 9, the word "not" was inadvertently included in the last sentence of the first column. The complete sentence should read: "If a physician provides the initial interpretation of the film and provides a separate distinctly identifiable signed written report, then the appropriate CPT code with the -26 modifier should be reported."
