October 2014 page 8 How to Code for the Provision of Positive Pressure Therapy Noninvasive, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy or bi-level positive airway pressure (BPAP) is commonly prescribed for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. Less frequently, these forms of PAP therapy may also be used to treat other forms of sleep-disordered breathing.
