When reporting these services, should we report the codes cumulatively (reporting each code together to represent the number of destructions performed), or should we report only one code, to describe the number of lesions destroyed? AMA Comment From a CPT coding perspective, when 15 or more benign or premalignant lesions are destroyed, it would be appropriate to report code 17104 alone, since this code represents 15 lesions and anything beyond.
