NCCI Update on Percutaneous Therapeutic Interventions The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) notified the American College of Radiology (ACR) and other specialty societies that they will rescind the language in the National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) Policy Manual for Medicare Services (Version 13.3), Chapter 5, Example 16, and replace it with the originally published NCCI paragraph from 1996.
