November 2001 pages 1-3 Overview of Changes for CPT® 2002 A total of 520 code changes were made for CPT 2002. Of those, 215 codes were added; 269 codes were revised; and 36 codes were deleted. Overall, a total of 425 "other changes" have been made to related guidelines, introductory notes, explanatory text, headings, and cross-references for CPT 2002.
