May 2022 pages 5-7 Reporting Closed Treatment of Nasal Bone Fracture In the Musculoskeletal System subsection of the Surgery section of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) 2022 code set, code 21310, Closed treatment of nasal bone fracture without manipulation, was deleted, and codes 21315 and 21320 were revised to include manipulation. In addition, an instructional parenthetical note was added following code 21315 instructing users to report the appropriate level evaluation and management (E/M) services code for closed treatment of nasal bone fracture without manipulation or stabilization.
