On the initial visit, the patient is sensitized to the topical immunotherapy by the application of a higher concentration of the solution to the patient's inner arm by the physician or QHP. On the second visit, based on the sensitization response, the physician or QHP determines the appropriate lower concentration to apply to the patient's scalp, and applies this initial dose.
