PROCEDURE Transcranial Doppler (TCD) study of the intracranial arteries with intravenous (IV) microbubble injection for emboli detection was performed without and with the Valsalva maneuver. COMPARISON None TECHNIQUE Motion mode and color TCD sonography were performed. Spectral analysis of bilateral MCAs was also performed.
