What would be the appropriate code(s) to report an upper esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) followed by an endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) performed at the same session? The upper endoscope was inserted into the patient's mouth and advanced to the second part of the duodenum; retroflexion was performed in the cardia and fundus; and then a radial echoendoscope was inserted into the patient's mouth and advanced to the second portion of the duodenum, which was then slowly withdrawn to the esophagus.
