Is it appropriate to report code 36221 or code 93567 for the imaging of an aortic arch when performed in conjunction with a cardiac catheterization? Note that information about the cervicocerebral vessels of the head are not the focus of the procedure. Typically, the physician or other qualified health care professional (QHP) is studying the configuration of the arch and collaterals impacting pulmonary or coronary circulation.
