Would it be appropriate to report code 66991 if the following documentation does not mention a stent going through the anterior chamber? After the completion of the intraocular lens insertion without incidence, the patient's head and the microscope were rotated into position for gonioscopy. The trabecular meshwork was well visualized. There were no issues in the way. The trabecular micro-bypass glaucoma stent was inserted into the trabecular meshwork and appropriate reflex bleeding was seen. Following successful implantation, the patient and the microscope were returned to the standard position and cataract surgery proceeded as per normal.
