My pathologist has received multiple slide specimens and records that are from different areas of the body for consultation from an outside physician. Can multiple quantities be reported? For example, if a skin biopsy from the left shoulder and a skin biopsy from the back (both biopsies were performed on the same day) are submitted for consultation would code 88325 x2 be reported?
