A patient complains of a sore throat, low-grade fever, and no other systemic symptoms. The strep test is positive, and medication is prescribed with a final diagnosis of strep throat. Would all urgent care complaints with prescription-drug management be considered undiagnosed new problems with uncertain prognosis? Can any problem presenting to an urgent care setting be counted as an undiagnosed new problem with uncertain prognosis?
