When performing an extensive shoulder debridement of three or more discrete shoulder structures (eg, labrum, supraspinatus tendon, and subacromial bursa), would it be appropriate to separately report the complete synovectomy with code 29821, or is the complete synovectomy included in code 29823 (extensive debridement)?
