The physician states that the patient presents for genicular branch nerve block, but in the description of the procedure performed, the physician does not refer to any of the nerves as genicular nerves. Nerve blocks were performed on the left lateral sural cutaneous nerve, saphenous nerve (in the region of the knee area), and the infrapatellar saphenous nerve. Is this a procedure that would be reported with code 64454?
