When reviewing CPT® Appendix P, CPT Codes That May Be Used For Synchronous Telemedicine Services, I found that CPT codes 99446, 99447, 99448, 99449, 99451, and 99452 may not be reported as synchronous (real-time) telemedicine services when appended by modifier -95. Why would these codes not be considered synchronous (real-time) telemedicine services?
