Medicare Revises Policy on Home-Based Noninvasive Positive Pressure Ventilation to Treat Chronic Respiratory Failure Due to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

<p>On August 21, 2025, CMS released a MedLearn Matters article regarding home-based noninvasive positive pressure ventilation to treat chronic respiratory failure due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The effective date is June 9, 2025, but the implementation date is October 22, 2025.
