U.S. Senator Calls for Congressional Hearings on ICD-10

U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn, MD (R-Oklahoma) is calling for congressional hearings on the effectiveness of ICD-10. In a white paper posted to his website, the senator writes that "congressional committees should hold hearings on ICD-10, evaluating the cost-benefit of this mandate from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)."
