STOP: Common Billing Errors
Our job, as a Medical Biller, is to ensure that the claims we send for our provider, are true, accurate, and correct. Sometimes mistakes are made, but these mistakes can be prevented. The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) has published MLN Matters SE0712 (Revised), which informs providers and billers of those billing errors so that we can make every attempt to ensure these errors do not happen again.
