Web-Based Electronic Medical Records Offer Portability, Disaster Protection

In areas of Louisiana and Mississippi affected by Hurricane Katrinarelated flooding, nearly 6,000 physicians directly involved in patient care were displaced, and numerous others suffered disruptions to their practice.
