If you have noticed a shortage of Medicare receipts in recent weeks, the reason is that Medicare is holding all claims with a date of service of January 1, 2012 or later for up to 10 business days in order to test and implement the 2012 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule with the updated fees from the fee fix law passed in December.
