ICD-10 update: Prepare for thousands of ICD-10-CM code changes this year

Coders got their first look March 22 at the 2,670 proposed ICD-10-CM code changes that take effect Oct. 1, 2016, which were issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in a text file on its website. The final code changes will be released later this year.
