Physician TipSheet: Updated anesthesia conversion factors – July 1 through Dec. 31, 2015

Thanks to the sustainable growth rate (SGR)-fix mandated by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA), the anesthesia conversion factor ticked upward — from to $22.4968 to $22.6093, effective July 1 (APCPS 5/15). Anesthesia providers will see the conversion factor increase to $22.6296 on Jan. 1 (see Proposed rule tightens incident-to rule, creates opportunities for CRNAs).
