Transition to ICD-10: Post-operative pain caused by prosthetics & grafts

When selecting a diagnosis code for post-op pain under ICD-10, finding the replacement for the 338.X codes will be a snap. However, when the pain is caused by a prosthetic device, implant or graft, you’ll need to delve into the T codes and select the appropriate 7th character extension.
