Industry Note: Home Health Rule Asks for Feedback on Interoperability

The CY 2019 home health proposed rule from CMS hit the streets on July 2, and the agency wants to hear your thoughts on interoperability and its impact on improving home health care. “CMS is releasing a Request for Information (RFI) to obtain feedback on positive solutions to better achieve interoperability or the sharing of healthcare data between providers,” noted an agency fact sheet. “Specifically, CMS is requesting stakeholder feedback through a RFI on the possibility of revising Conditions of Participation related to interoperability as a way to increase electronic sharing of data by providers.&rdquo...
