Industry Notes: APMs Can Check First 2020 Snapshot on QPP Tool

The first snapshot of Performance Year (PY) 2020 data for Alternative Payment Models (APMs) is available to peruse online. Now: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) updated its Quality Payment Program (QPP) status tool to include Part B claims’ snapshot data for dates of service from Jan. 1, 2020 to March 31, 2020. The tool highlights 2020 information from Qualifying APM Participants (QPs) and Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) APMs, a CMS message indicates.
