Industry Notes: Hospice Compare Opens the Door for Public Scrutiny

If you’re concerned about improving your quality data, now might be the time to prioritize improving your practice measures. Medicare’s Hospice Compare website is now available for patients, partners, and competitors to scrutinize providers’ quality data. The site contains information from about 3,900 hospices and covers seven “National Quality Forum-endorsed Hospice Item Set quality measures,” notes the CMS fact sheet about the site.
