Industry Notes: HRSA-Funded Health Centers Get Another Boost
In another move to help rural and underserved communities get vaccinated, the feds are inviting all Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA)-funded health centers to become part of the Health Center COVID-19 Vaccination Program.
Reminder: Last month, the Department of Health and Human Service (HHS) announced another $150 million allocation for the HRSA program, which added 700 more health centers to the 250 already in the program (see Medicare Compliance & Reimbursement, Vol. 47, No. 7).
Now: On April 7, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra expanded the program to include all HRSA-funded health centers as well as Health Center Program...
