Industry Notes: OIG Revamps COVID Guidance Offering

As pandemic conditions roll back across the country, the feds are ramping up their COVID-19 fraud efforts with some new tools and tips for providers. Details: The HHS Office of Inspector General continues to get serious about COVID-19 fraud. The watchdog agency has added more resources to its COVID-19 Portal, “including a searchable list of our COVID-19 reports,” it says in a release. Other highlights on OIG’s COVID dashboard include quick links to auxiliary agencies, a strategic plan, enforcement actions, policy and guidance, and outreach.
