The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services isn't officially working on any new plan to replace or supplement current billing methods for evaluation and management services, a CMS official tells PBI. "The ball is in the AMA's court," the source says. That jibes with the AMA's view, which is that CMS doesn't have any plans for new methodologies (such as payments according to "average weights") on the table.   ...
