Create New Claims Center For Non-Credentialed Claims

Luckily, Medicare allows you to hold onto claims for a new physician and send them once the doctor has a billing number, notes Laura Talbert with Shore Billing & Management in Allen, MD. She recommends setting up a separate claims center for the new physician, so you can process the claims normally.
