Meridian Offers On-Site Server, Regular Backups

Consultant Barbara Cobuzzi  particularly recommends one electronic medical record provider called Meridian EMR <www.meridianemr.com>, which places a server in your office. The office-based server gives you the speed of an on-site server, but at the same time Meridian has a server in its central office. "They have your server constantly synchronizing with their server, so basically a duplicate of your server sits on their site," explains Cobuzzi.  From a security standpoint, this means you have an off-site backup of your database in another location.
