Pelvic Exam Code Bundled With 109 Codes

CPT code 57410 (Pelvic examination under anesthesia) will become a component of 109 codes, and you won't be able to use a modifier to override these edits. The component codes include almost all female genital surgery codes, except for incision codes and excision add-on code 56606. Component codes also include a number of vaginal surgery, oviduct/ovary surgery and ovarian surgery codes, as well as a number of maternity care codes. They also include radical trachelectomy code 57531, myomectomy codes 58140 and 58146, artificial insemination codes 58321-58345 and 58350, uterine repair codes 58400-58540 and laparoscopy/hysterectomy code 58553. ...
