Cardiac rehabilitation services For CY 2008, CMS did not finalize the proposal to establish two new G-codes to report cardiac rehabilitation services. Instead, CMS will continue to use CPT codes 93797, Physician services for outpatient cardiac rehabilitation; without continuous ECG monitoring (per session), and 93798, Physician services for outpatient cardiac rehabilitation; with continuous ECG monitoring (per session), for these services.
