Computer-Assisted Navigation with Mazor X Stealth™ Robotic Guidance
A patient with scoliosis and progressive deformity was admitted for posterior spinal fusion with instrumentation. A longitudinal incision along the length of the spine was made. The posterior elements of the spine were identified and prepared for fusion. A Mazor X™ robot was attached to the patient to assist in the placement of bilateral pedicle screws from T5-T11. Fluoroscopy with O-Arm™ confirmed placement of the screws, and the wound was prepared for closure.
