Intracranial and Brain Temperature Monitoring
Effective October 1, 2007, the following new codes have been created to report intracranial pressure, oxygen and brain temperature monitoring: • 01.10 Intracranial pressure monitoring • 01.16 Intracranial oxygen monitoring • 01.17 Brain temperature monitoring These codes include the insertion of the catheter or probe for monitoring, as well as the monitoring.
