Long-Term Use of Trulicity or Victoza (GLP-1 Receptor Agonist) with Oral Antidiabetic Drugs

What codes should be assigned for long-term use of both an oral antidiabetic drug and an injectable GLP-1 receptor agonist, such as Trulicity or Victoza? Per the Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, Section I.C.4.a.3, when both oral hypoglycemics and insulin are used for treatment, only the insulin is assigned. Should we follow the same hierarchy and assign only the code for the injectable GLP-1 receptor agonist drug even though the injectable is not insulin? ...
