New and Revised CPT Category III Codes
The following Category III codes were released to the American Medical Association’s website on December 30, 2025, with an effective date of July 1, 2026. The changes consisted of the addition of twenty-eight codes and revision of four codes. CPT Code Long Descriptor Effective Date 0805T ►Codes 0805T , 0806T are used to report transcatheter superior and/ or inferior vena cava prosthetic valve implantation (ie, caval valve implantation [CAVI]).
