Volunteers needed for ICD-10-PCS Testing The ICD-10 Procedure Coding System (ICD-10-PCS) is being developed, with the support of HCFA, under contract to 3M Health Information Systems. When implemented, ICD-10-PCS is intended to replace Volume 3 of ICD-9-CM for inpatient coding, although implementation is not anticipated prior to the year 2000.
