December 2019 page 5 Changes to Exploration of Artery Codes For the 2020 edition of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) code set, changes have been made to the artery exploration family of codes in the Cardiovascular/Arteries and Veins/Excision, Exploration, Repair, Revision subsection. One code (35701) has been revised, two new codes (35702, 35703) have been added, and three codes (35721, 35741, 35761) have been deleted.
