CMS Opens National Coverage Analysis for Certain MRA Indications The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has opened a national coverage analysis (NCA) to review the evidence on current noncovered indications for magnetic resonance angiography (MRI). The NCA was opened after evidence was found to support one or more currently noncovered indications for MRI during a review of published scientific evidence.
