a time-based code?
AMA Comment
From a CPT coding perspective,
codes that do not include an increment of
time in the descriptor do not utilize time as a
component for determining the use of the code.
Specifically, code 92506 is reported without
regard to the length of time spent performing the
service because it is not a time-based code.
