This addition includes guidelines and new codes (37211-37214), which replaced deleted thrombolytic infusion codes 37201 and 37209, as well as the creation of code 37197 to report the services that were previously reported with codes 37203 and 75961. These new codes complement the existing CPT codes that describe arterial mechanical thrombectomy and venous mechanical thrombectomy.
