The code descriptor for 0707T specifically indicates a bone substitute material such as calcium phosphate. If a surgeon performs this procedure with a 100% allogenic bone-substitute material instead of with a synthetic bone-substitute material, would 0707T still apply as the appropriate code assignment? And if not, would the code assignment be instead an unlisted code based on the anatomical site of the procedure?
