What CPT code would be reported when a patient has a 0.5-cm area of diseased tissue in the right ethmoid sinus, which was excised? Using an intranasal approach, the physician placed topical agents on the nasal mucosa to shrink the blood vessels. Local anesthesia was injected, and the physician retracted the middle turbinate to expose the sinus opening. A small curette was advanced to locate the diseased ethmoid cells of the anterior sinus, and the diseased cells were removed.
